Today we’d like to introduce you to Sílvia Pinho
Hi Sílvia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I like to say everything in my story happened by a happy accident. From the day I started freelancing after searching on Google for how to make money online, to having figured out through trial and error that social media marketing is what I really am passionate about – it all fell in at the right place right time and I’m super thankful for that.
If I had to change anything it would be to tell my younger self that she could charge more because I came from a scarcity point of view –but even then that’s part of my journey and all being said I don’t know if I would change it because it led me to where I am today.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all! It has been a rollercoaster ride – and what a wild one at that!! But again I wouldn’t change it for the world and all the ups and downs I went through means I now can share them with others to help them avoid some of the mistakes I made earlier on.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a social media marketer and content creator and I love making social media easy and fun for brands – because life is too short to have a boring presence on social media – and nobody wants to see that anyway.
I also, on the side, love to help other aspiring freelancers to, like I said, avoid some of the mistakes I made earlier on and find success in their careers through courses, ebooks, and such at a very reasonable price.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I feel like I am pretty much an open book so I don’t know if there’s much that people wouldn’t know if they follow me closely but maybe a fun fact is that I have now five goats that I love with all my heart.
