Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Sears & Justin Fife.
Nick Sears, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We started this venture, the Disc Golf Show, in 2013 and through the past dozen years have had a blast being able to share with others our appreciation for our favorite sport… disc golf! We started this as a passion project that could help others in the industry, and we still have that same drive and purpose!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been pretty smooth overall, but we did have a period of time where we had to take a step back from parts of what we did due to other priorities. We have had a resurgence of drive to push forward and regrow our beloved project, the Disc Golf Show podcast.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Well, we have always been very willing to help promote others as best we can! Our podcast was created as a portal for others to get the word out about their passion projects! We are very proud of the product we deliver, but are always looking for new ways to grow so that we have even more opportunities to help others!
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
The main lesson is that you can’t let others think for you… make your choices as you deem best for you and those close to you! Stay strong!
