Today we’d like to introduce you to Mary Rooney Armand

Hi Mary, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?

Changing directions and pivoting personally or professionally is difficult. As my children became independent, I contemplated reentering the business world; my safe known space.

Instead, I embarked on a new opportunity creating the blog ButterflyLiving and publishing two books.

It was scary but leaning on my marketing and writing background, I learned about blogging and social media.

It has been a wild, exhilarating ride that has changed my perspective and purpose. ButterflyLiving has reached thousands of readers with its encouraging hope-filled messages.

I’ve learned it is never too late to pursue a dream or passion, and that most people are eager to help you.

We all have different chapters in our story, I hope this small part of my story encourages you to chase after your dream no matter how old you are or the obstacles in front of you!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Creating and growing ButterflyLiving.org has been filled with obstacles and challenges.

-I need to be humble and reach out to people I do not know admitting there are things I do not know.
-Adapting to new methods, strategies, and technology is ongoing.
-I’ve realized the importance of staying focused and consistent
-A strong faith and network of family and friends are instrumental in overcoming setbacks and mistakes.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

I spend most of my time writing, marketing, speaking, and connecting with other writers and creatives. Besides the blog I have two published books, Understanding Your Identity and Life Changing Stories.
The profits from Life Changing Stories, a collaboration with 34 authors, are donated to Compassion International an organization that impacts children in poverty.
