Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendrick Holmes

Hi Kendrick, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

I actually got my first start as an extra in a short film called “ Dog Walker” , which led to “Empire” ( FOX ) , “ Big Leap ( FOX ) also was featured in “ THE CHI “ ( Showtime ) . But always praising director Marcus Carothers for casting me as “Money” in City of Vultures 2 & City Of Vultures 3 it gave me that local notoriety.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Smooth? I wouldn’t say that hell no. This journey I’ve been on has been nothing but blood , sweat, and tears literally. Man I’ve lost myself plenty times most definitely have to be one strong individual to fall get back up, get pushed but can’t push back because you don’t want to lose the little things that you do have left you know that FIGHT in life you have to not give up until we reach that destination. Listen I’ve lost love , loved ones , relationships with family and friends not the same I’m a walking testimony.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

I’m an aspiring actor from Chicago , IL known from Chicago PD season 11 episode 12 as “ Leon Madges “ , City of Vultures 2,3 “Money “ City Of The Dead “ Cedric “ . I can say that I’m most proud of the man that I am today my life ain’t been such a walk in a park still go through battles but at the end of it all through Christ I shall prevail .

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?

For me growing up I was into sports like little league baseball, basketball was my favorite was pretty good at it , I got four brothers we grow up real close so a lot of memories was more with them some good some bad but we made it through. My mother was a single parent with the help from our grandparents ain’t no telling how things would have turned out , they no longer here but the things the taught us kept us away from jail most definitely thanking GOD we all still here.
