Today we’d like to introduce you to Joyce Bacon
Hi Joyce, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well, my journey has been a full circle one, but indeed blessed. It is one of resilience and perseverance that speaks to women of all cultures and backgrounds. I was a young mother with four children, and knew I needed to do something more to take care of my family. The first part of that involved my own healing from the inside out. You know we all have a purpose but understanding it and tapping into it, is what most people struggle with. I had an inkling that there was a call to something greater. As a young mother worked many jobs providing for my children and overcame many obstacles. However here I am. Many of us have stories of resilience. My story isn’t the only one, but many people are waiting for permission to inhale, exhale and embrace that they have survived, are resilient human beings, the way God designed intended us to be.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of my struggles where attacks om my identity, through abuse and rejection, as well as the many disparities associated with poverty and growing up in communities where hope is scarce.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Life and Professional Development Coach, Author and Speaker. I specialize in uplifting others and providing hope and inspiration in partnership with Holy Spirit to encourage people that they too can raise and be empowered to do more to change the lives of others and impact the world in a positive way. I’m my profession I also reaffirm the gift in those that are unemployed and seeking training to embrace a new opportunity in workforce or to start a new entrepreneurial project. My approach is intentional in inspiring, motivating and empowering individuals to rise and embrace their God-given purpose.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Yes, I believe that the purpose takes care of the person. What God has called us to do will prevail. I do believe that we are responsible for taking risk and walking on water. That faith walk… Believing that there is more and going after it as God puts the dreams in our hearts. We are also responsible for protecting our growth and working toward removing the toxic out of our lives. Toxic people, places and things. This allows us to flow more clearly and concise as we partner with God and serve others.
