Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Meadows.
Hi Jasmine, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story is complex, to say the least. But if I had to pinpoint where this journey truly began, I’d say it started nearly seven years ago during a profound spiritual awakening. It was then that I discovered my spiritual gifts—claircognizance, clairvoyance, clairaudience, and most notably, automatic writing (psychography). At the time, I didn’t know what to do with these abilities. They felt foreign and taboo, given the environment I grew up in. So, I kept them to myself, quietly working to develop and understand them.
Over time, I grew more comfortable with my gifts. As they expanded—even into predictive dreaming—I began offering readings to close friends and family. Gradually, I felt called to help mothers in particular. My ability to sense and interpret emotional energy blockages was strong, and I found immense joy in guiding mothers through their struggles, shining a light where they felt most in the dark.
Just as I was stepping into my purpose and starting my business, my life took an abrupt turn. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The news shattered my world overnight. After undergoing major abdominal surgery, I faced a recurrence less than three months later. Everything changed.
At first, I was terrified of chemotherapy and conventional medicine. I wanted to rely solely on holistic methods. But when my body signaled that it needed something different, I knew I had to pivot. I decided to create my own team—a collaborative approach that aligned with my spiritual intuition. I was divinely guided to an incredible doctor who is both intuitive and spiritual, with a remarkable ability to “see” within the body. I was also led to work with one of the best herbal doctors I could find. Together, we integrated conventional treatments with plant medicine and holistic practices.
This approach felt deeply personal and aligned with my soul. While I wasn’t always certain of the outcome, I trusted the process and the divine guidance that brought me to this team. Along the way, I learned so much—not just about my body and nature, but also about the healthcare system and its blind spots when it comes to holistic healing.
Recently, I received incredible news: my cancer has shrunk substantially. With only two chemotherapy treatments, consistent use of plant medicine, and significant lifestyle changes—particularly in my diet—the results have defied expectations. My doctors are intrigued, even perplexed, by the rapid progress I’ve made. They’ve begun asking me what I’m doing because my case isn’t following the usual trajectory they see.
This journey has taught me to advocate for myself in ways I never imagined. It’s shown me that while I have a gift for reading the energy of others, sometimes I need a village to help me clear the deep, hidden baggage within myself. This shift has transformed my mindset and allowed me to empower others simply by being an example.
I gave myself permission to trust myself—to bet on me—and see what happens. It was terrifying at first, but despite the fear, it felt aligned. I also learned to release control over the outcome, which isn’t easy when you have two young children (ages 13 and 8). But I firmly believe the body is a self-healing agent when given the right environment. If my body created this dis-ease, I believed it could also heal itself with the proper support.
So far, that belief has proven true. My body is healing. This journey hasn’t been easy—it’s come with hair loss, bone pain, fatigue, and other challenges—but it’s been worth it. Being in the driver’s seat of my own health has been an empowering experience.
This process has revealed the resilience within me and allowed me to model strength and self-care for my children. They are watching my every move, learning how to care for their bodies and build a connection with themselves on a cellular level. It’s a gift to see them make healthy choices because they want to—not because they’re forced.
To me, this is real generational wealth: teaching my children how to sustain and nurture their physical vessels so they can fully experience life. Even in the face of life-altering circumstances, I am deeply grateful for the chance to pass this legacy on to them.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—not by a long shot. For starters, a lot of the challenges stem from the fact that I’m a single mother, and my kids and I are incredibly close. When this all unfolded, it shook us to the core because there was so much uncertainty.
My surgery alone kept me in the hospital for an entire month over the summer, and while I was grateful to have a few months cancer-free after that, the recurrence came swiftly and upended everything again. Since then, I’ve found myself in the hospital nearly every month, facing one issue after another—bowel obstructions, fluid around my heart, internal bleeding. It’s been relentless.
Over the course of my healing, I’ve had to receive several blood transfusions, which was a significant hurdle for me. I’ve always held a strong belief against accepting transfusions, so reconciling that belief wasn’t easy. But when it came down to it, those transfusions were life-saving—at pivotal moments during my hospital stays, they quite literally gave me the strength to keep going.
Navigating all of this hasn’t been easy, especially when trying to create a stable support system for my kids while dealing with my own healing. Thankfully, I’ve been incredibly fortunate. The most amazing support has shown up for me, even when I didn’t know where it would come from. My children have been blessed with a network of people who genuinely care about them. Through this experience, they’re learning that it’s okay to ask for help and that they don’t have to face challenges alone.
And honestly, that’s a lesson I’ve had to learn, too. As someone who has always been self-reliant—the person everyone comes to for everything—it was incredibly hard for me to ask for help, let alone expect it. I didn’t know what it felt like to receive support until I was in a position where I had no choice but to let others step in and love me. And you know what? It’s been humbling. It’s shown me how deeply people care when you allow them to show up for you.
While this journey has been nothing short of challenging, it’s taught me and my children an invaluable lesson: it’s okay to be vulnerable, and it’s okay to receive help. You don’t have to do it all alone. If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got. Sometimes, the hardest roads lead to the most important growth.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Haha, my work—that’s a story in itself. Like many people, I’ve had a variety of jobs throughout my career, but my journey has been anything but linear. I spent over 15 years working in healthcare before making a radical career change about a decade ago into the world of transportation.
I started out in the transportation sector driving trains for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. After several years, I was promoted into the world of construction management, and it was there that I discovered a deep love for project management. This newfound passion led me to take on a role as a Project Manager at a new company. While I was thriving professionally and learning a lot, the experience came with its challenges—not so much with the clients, but more so navigating the bureaucracy of a large organization.
Although I enjoyed project management, I began to feel a pull in a different direction. I realized that while I loved managing projects, the type of projects I was working on didn’t resonate with my soul. I had a deep desire to help people, and I knew my intuitive nature and spiritual gifts were central to my purpose.
Writing was another passion of mine, and over time, I felt increasingly called to lean into what truly lit me up, even if it meant stepping away from the traditional path I was “supposed” to follow. This inner calling led me to create my own soul-led business, A Piece of Peace Wellness, where I offered readings, crystals, and various metaphysical tools to empower individuals on their journeys.
As my spiritual gifts continued to evolve, my focus shifted to working with mothers in particular. I discovered a natural ability to perceive and read emotional energy blockages in others, and being a single mother myself, I felt a strong connection to helping other mothers navigate their healing journeys. This passion led to the creation of Mom In Motion Consulting.
Mom In Motion Consulting was a soul-led endeavor where I worked one-on-one with clients, helping them identify and clear energetic blockages while serving as a guiding light in the areas where they felt most stuck or lost. Much of this work focused on uncovering limiting beliefs, healing childhood wounds, addressing shadow work (subconscious programming), and embracing personal empowerment. Thanks to my spiritual gifts, I could often “see” what was going on with a client energetically, allowing me to understand them on a profound level—sometimes before they even shared their story with me.
To support their healing, I utilized a variety of modalities, including tarot, oracle cards, pendulum readings, channeled writing, and scrying. However, my cancer diagnosis brought about a profound shift. I felt called to pause this work and take a step back, as I sensed a new path emerging from my recent life experiences.
Now, I’ve been exploring a space I call Quantum Healing Mentorship, inspired by my own healing journey. I’ve noticed how simply living my life authentically and sharing my story has empowered others to take charge of their own healing. This has become the core of my focus—mentoring others who are navigating their own healing journeys and showing, by example, that transformation is possible.
During this chapter of my life, I’m taking the time to refine my purpose and align my work with this new vision. My goal is to serve humanity in a way that feels deeply resonant and impactful on a soul level.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
For anyone just beginning their spiritual journey, I’d encourage you to remain open and allow things to flow. This is often easier said than done, but it’s crucial not to force everything to “make sense” immediately. Growth, after all, is rarely linear, and part of the beauty of this path is uncovering its meaning as you go.
Remember, the journey itself is the destination. So often, we get caught up in rushing toward where we think we need to be that we overlook the richness of the ride. Allow yourself grace. Embrace curiosity over control. Let the twists and turns guide you toward a deeper understanding, rather than being consumed by the pressure of “arriving.”
For those looking to advocate for themselves, I’d suggest starting small. Tune into your own feelings, and notice what aligns and resonates with you. This doesn’t mean disregarding conventional remedies if they’re necessary; it means checking in with yourself to ensure that your choices feel right on a soul level. Trust your instincts. Trust yourself. Don’t hesitate to bet on you.
It’s worth remembering that trust is always present—we’re constantly trusting something. Whether it’s trusting that things will fall apart or that they’ll work out in our favor, trust is there, shaping our perceptions. Knowing this, why not place your trust in yourself and the belief that, no matter how things unfold, they’re ultimately working for your highest good? Even the experiences we don’t prefer can hold hidden blessings, offering us wisdom and growth that we may not fully understand until much later.
