Humility, empathy, curiosity, and relentless fine-tuning. Humility means knowing that your your position, your special role can be filled if you lose your passion, drive, become complacent, and lose your vigor. Providing excellent service means always being the best you can be, even when you’ve earned your client’s trust. Especially in today’s fast paced, non-stop corporate climate, employees and leaders can easily burn out. Work/life balance is necessary, but what is more crucial is perspective. Read more>>

Success is measured in many ways. I like Bob Dylan’s approach on the subject “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do”. We took that approach to creating a work environment we all are proud of at Bruz Beers. Every team member here has made a conscious decision to leave another work environment to join ours. The reasons for leaving the other opportunities were vast, but mostly centered around not being happy and being treated poorly. Read more>>

I think success is relative and means something different for everyone. It could mean running a successful business and making millions of dollars for one person, or slow living on a farm for another person and just making enough money to live doing whatever they want every day. Read more>>

Too often people will measure their success by the amount of money they make. And while money can be a good metric for success it doesn’t need to necessarily need to be the only focus. I think success is finding your passion and then having the grit and perseverance to see it through. Read more>>

Being successful doesn’t equate to monetary value, but customer satisfaction. To achieve this we look for ways to connect with our target market. Fully communicating and creating relationships are the necessary steps taken to grow and heighten the level of business. Participating in festivals and social events are ways to connect with others while spreading our message of woman empowerment through lingerie. Utilizing this tool, we are able to gain insight on what customer’s wants and desires. This allows us to pinpoint what our audience would like to and feel while shopping at our store. Read more>>

I often tell people “It’s not about what you go through but it’s how you go about it.” Simply because it all starts with your mindset. Of course other things factor into it such as a willingness to adapt, being a student of learning and setting goals for yourself. But again without a strong mindset/attitude you’ll hinder yourself from what you want to accomplish. I can testify to that. My biggest challenge was my last semester in college in 2019. Shoutout to Georgia State! Read more>>

In order to be successful, you have to understand that your self-worth is not tied to financial success. Success is defined by your effort and commitment to your dreams. The thing that separates your success from another person is the desire to keep going when the road gets tough. When things get hard and complicated, you have to find the inner strength to keep going and hold on to your dreams. Success is already within you, you just have to hold on to it. Read more>

I believe that consistency yields success. A steady pace in business; in life for that matter, wins the race. In my interactions with people of varying ages during my career and prior to, I came upon the realization that with technology and accessibility to so much a great number of people opt for the “instant gratification” path. Yes, having and getting everything now is a great feeling, but maintaining is another story entirely. This is the classic two cars on a journey and black car is steady and consistent to the next light and the red one roaring and moving in and out of traffic to get ahead. Ultimately they both end up at the same light at the same time. Read more>>

To me, listening is what makes great business people. I believe as an introvert, I’ve added so much to my list of resources because of the things that I’ve learned due to listening to my colleagues and associates. Just as my business name, I personally don’t chase after the “get rich quick scheme“ or the trending topic, I want to be able to create a lasting legacy for myself and the Creative‘s that come after me. A success story is not a story if it doesn’t not have failures involved. So many people like for example the owner of KFC and Walt Disney failed in so many different areas, but that did not stop them from the success they finally acquired. Failing is apart of succeeding and the sooner you accept it the closer you will be to a successful result. Well this did not work and that did not work, but at least you know going down those roads aren’t leading to success so you shift your efforts else where. You gain more and more traction towards the best road. Read more>>

First, I think we must define what successful means. In general, I think we can all agree that success means different things to different people. But what I do believe is consistent to everyone with all types of ideal success is the fact that it is going to be harder than you think, it will not go how you think, and it will be the hardest thing you’ve ever done. No matter how you define it, to be successful means you must at a minimum face the potential of failure, but most likely you will experience it. To overcome failure, true failure that results in major setbacks in life, you must grow as a person, you must grow as a professional and you must become a better version of yourself. Read more>>

CONFIDENCE Having confidence is one of the things that I believe takes to be successful. By developing your self-confidence, you will be able to achieve your goals, take opportunities that come your way and also have the strength to overcome any obstacles. You are willing to startle and even upset people around you. When you set an ambitious goal, many or most of your friends and family members may scoff. People will try to get you to stay in your little box. however, you have to be willing & have the confidence within yourself to deal with negativity in people around you — or even walk away from relationships if necessary. When you lack self confidence, you end up looking to others to make decisions for you instead of looking within. Read more>>

Diving deeper into my feelings and the answer I always find is “NEVER GIVE UP” mindset. I feel along with the scoop of hard work, focus, consistency and support, the never giving up attitude is the main ingredient to success. Cultivating relationships. As business owners we think we should sell, pitch, sell! The problem with this is people do not want to be sold to, they want to buy and in the end, they buy YOU. Relationship building is an old, yet proven and profitable principle that most businesses ignore. When we’re intentional, supportive, and serving, I’ve experienced great things, such as client acquisitions, collaborations, and amazing friendships. Read more>>

In my opinion, I believe in order to become successful in any industry, you have to remain consistent. No matter what curve balls are thrown at you while you build, you must push through. I started my career on faith with nothing but a dream to be one of the best hairstylists of my generation. A lot of obstacle could’ve stopped me from pursuing my dreams but I remained focus on the end goal that I’ve set for myself. Being consistent, hungry for the success, and most of all having faith are important factors to becoming successful. Read more>>

Success can mean so many different things. For some to be successful it means having time to live life without restriction. For some it’s money. For some it’s a status. For me it’s a mix of knowing that I’ve worked hard regardless of my circumstances, while staying true to who I am. I’ve always been a grinder. I like to think outside of the box and dream big. And I’m willing to put the work in to see where I can go. I actually don’t even really set goals… it’s just this is what I’m gonna do and then believing that it’s gonna be successful. Sometimes things fall flatter than others and their are bumps along the way. Read more>>

Working smart, taking risks and being confident in yourself. That’s all success comes down to, depending what you consider success to be. As a 20 something marketer living in south London I was in the middle of a regular catch up with my boss, and when they said ‘what do you see next for yourself?’ I didn’t discuss learning a new skill or perhaps a promotion, I said I’d like to be transferred to the American offices. To become successful, it takes determination. Determination requires intention, and intention is a mental state to commit to a course of action. There are several factors that make a person successful, but I think the most important factor is having knowledge of self. The vast majority of people in the world lack knowledge of self, and instead focus much of their attention on trying to become who media and society tells them to be as opposed to becoming who they are designed to be. They don’t truly know themselves. Read more>>

First and foremost it takes you not caring what people think about you. Far too often we second-guess ourselves because we are worried about what other people will say. Success requires you to take that leap and majority of the time you’re taking that leap alone. You can’t take that leap worrying about what other people will say or do. You have to wake up every day with the mindset that you can do anything you put your mind to. It’s all about mind over matter and once you get over that you can create success. Read more>>

Before determining what it takes to be successful, one must determine what success means to them as an individual. I think a lot of times, success is determined predominantly by a financial level, but I believe this is only one part of the puzzle. Taking accountability is key for success. People with money have range, people with creativity have just as much range. I feel like in order to be successful, you have to put your mind to it. I know everyone says that but very few people do it. Ive experienced amazing months where business is great but I’ve also experienced awful months where I constantly question myself and my business. A lot of Hard work, sleepless nights, broken promises, and even a little heartbreak make you a successful person. You have to be determined and focused. Like at one point I was going out partying and all that but I have a partner who’s very successful and he never partied or hung out but when he did go out it was so exclusive that the people he would be with would need his services and he was always working so that made me change my focus. Hard work, being genuine, and taking the time to connect with your clients. I really don’t think you can be successful without doing those three things, especially in this industry. People value feeling valued, I know I do. So taking the time to get to know my clients and always doing the best I can for every job, even when I’m not feeling up to it, is essential. I know I’ve had plenty of days where I just don’t feel like working, whether it’s from exhaustion, personal things going on, etc. Read more>>

I guess it starts with truly taking a deep dive into your inner self and understanding what does success truly mean to you. Many people automatically think success comes in the form of having a lot of money, successful career, and fancy cars. The truth is – that is not the case. Especially in these times (since COVID hit) – the word success hits home differently for so many. Success can mean having a spouse and kids, owning a home, buying your first car, or as simple as being happy and feeling a sense of peace. Once you have defined what success means to you, I would impart to you some of the key steps you can take to reach your success. Read more>>

Being successful starts in your mind. You have to see the vision that God has given you and prepare for it daily. You have to sacrifice temporary desires that will fulfill your flesh but ultimately derail your journey. To be successful you have to be willing to be wrong and fail at a few things. There’s no shame in building your foundation and sometimes you have to rebuild until you create the right formula. All great entrepreneurs and entertainers had to build their foundation with little to no capital from outside parties. It takes more than making a claim or affirmation that you will be successful, you have to work for it. Read more>>

There are a lot of factors involved with being successful. Defining what “success” means to you also influences that answer. At its roots, privilege plays a big part as well- how set up for “success” are you before you’ve put your own effort in? Once you know your goals, and recognize your privilege, you have to feel out what path you’re going to work toward, assessing what risks you’re willing to take, or how long you’re willing to wait and work to achieve your goals. I think keeping your eye on the prize and recognizing when to change your plan or take an opportunity that presents itself are both key factors toward success, whatever that means to you. And, keeping in mind that “success” means a lot of things, some of which you may already have. Read more>>

I think it takes a combination of things but it starts with passion. You need to make sure you are passionate about what you are trying to accomplish because you will inevitably face challenges that will wear you down. Sometimes these challenges will seem impossible at first and make you feel like throwing in the towel. Passion wont let you do that – it will push you when you feel you cant go another step. It will resolve the unsolvable by not allowing you to surrender. It will force you to consistently try when you probably feel you have nothing left in the tank. While other factors are undeniably needed to be successful, it is my passion for marketing that continuously pushes me to accomplish bigger and better things. Read more>>
