Today we’d like to introduce you to Rasha Hamzeh
Hi Rasha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began my career in marketing and advertising after initially majoring in graphic design. Over time, I realized I was drawn to the strategic side of marketing, so I made the shift. Early in my career, I worked with top industry players like Optimum Media Direction (OMD) and Havas across the Middle East and North Africa, managing portfolios for prestigious brands such as Daimler, Uber, and LVMH. These experiences allowed me to build my reputation in both B2B and B2C markets.
A defining moment in my career came when I was nine months pregnant and decided to take the leap to start my own consultancy, The Inhouse. Drawing on my years of expertise, I was able to secure high-profile clients like Mitsubishi, Access Bank UK, Koita Foods, and Dubai Airports. My team and I delivered significant results, like achieving a 6.2 ROAS on Amazon orders for Koita and a 325% increase in lead generation for Access Bank UK. These successes cemented my role as a sought-after business strategist and marketing expert.
I also ventured into the podcasting world, producing and managing The Insight Track with Luca Allam. Within just six weeks, the podcast ranked in the top 10% on Apple Podcasts, and have now gained over 100,000 YouTube subscribers, and exceeded 1M views, attracting sponsorships and PR coverage.
Beyond my professional life, I’m deeply committed to humanitarian efforts. I’ve taken part in adventurous fundraising challenges, including hiking to Everest Base Camp, horse riding across Mongolia, and cycling across the Emirates—all to support those in need. Through my NGO ‘Eh, Fi Amal’ and my work with TeamHope, I aim to make a positive impact on communities while supporting social causes like UAE elections and disaster relief.
I also co-founded Edge Candle Studio with my sister, Dina. It’s a quirky gifting concept that offers captioned candles, bringing joy to customers across the UAE. Edge Candle Studio has flourished, especially during special occasions, and reflects both Dina’s creativity and my strategic insights.
Through it all, I’ve remained committed to my core values of resilience and compassion, striving to inspire others while achieving success in both business and personal ventures.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has been anything but conventional. After losing my father, I moved to Dubai on my own and entered a male-dominated media buying industry. While I achieved a senior role in a multinational company—a position many would consider a dream—I didn’t feel fully satisfied. The issue wasn’t the work but the rigid 9-to-6 structure, which didn’t align with how I wanted to live and work.
I decided to leave that structure behind and carve out my own path. It wasn’t easy, but it allowed me to break free from traditional job roles and limitations. I embraced opportunities that let me explore beyond predefined job descriptions, fueling my entrepreneurial spirit and pushing me to continually expand my horizons.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Insight Track is a passion project that I’m especially proud of. It’s a podcast that dives deep into the personal and professional lives of guests, exploring their journeys, challenges, and successes. What makes us different is the authenticity of our conversations. We go beyond surface-level discussions to uncover unique insights that resonate with listeners.
The talk show has gained a reputation for bringing a refreshing, human element to interviews. Guests feel comfortable revealing their true selves, which creates meaningful and relatable content. We’ve built a growing, loyal audience across platforms, thanks to episodes that focus not only on success but also on resilience, failures, and personal growth.
Some key elements of the show include:
- Rapid Growth: We’re one of the fastest-growing podcasts in the region and on track to become the leading homegrown English podcast in the Middle East.
- Influential Host: With Luca Allam, a former regional CEO of PHD MENA, as the host, the show benefits from his vast network and credibility, giving listeners unparalleled insights.
- High Production Value: We prioritize top-tier content and production, which attracts both sponsors and discerning listeners.
- Diverse Topics and Guests: Our guests come from various industries, ensuring the discussions are relevant and engaging.
We also incorporate fun, creative segments:
- The Mug: Guests share personal stories behind their favorite mugs.
- The Safe Word: Guests use a safe word if they’d prefer not to answer a question.
- The Ball of Questions: This segment includes fun, thought-provoking, and sometimes controversial questions.
These elements combine to make The Insight Track more than just a podcast—it’s a platform for learning, inspiration, and connection.

Continuous learning is a big part of my life. Over the past four years, I’ve completed two Mini MBAs with Mark Ritson from Marketing Week and earned my MSc in Marketing from King’s College UK, graduating with distinction.
I also stay connected with thought leaders on LinkedIn, which has been a valuable platform for exchanging insights with experts across various fields. This habit of learning and connecting enriches both my professional and personal life, and I encourage others to make learning a lifelong journey.
