Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Lc Wells
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey into wellness began in 2010, inspired by both personal challenges with health and the experiences of close family members who faced severe health issues. Some of these battles led to heartbreaking losses, and I witnessed firsthand how much our health impacts every aspect of our lives. Those experiences pushed me to dive deeper into holistic wellness practices, not only for my healing but also to help those around me. Over the years, I found that taking a proactive, preventative approach to health was essential.
Fast forward to 2021, when I officially launched Hervival, a space where women, particularly women of color, could access wellness resources that prioritize both mind and body. I wanted to build something that combined gut health, mindfulness, and holistic self-care, because I know how deeply interconnected these areas are. It’s been an incredible journey to see Hervival grow into a community of women dedicated to thriving—not just surviving. My work now centers on helping women discover their true power by aligning their wellness goals with their personal and professional ambitions.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve faced my share of challenges. I’ve been an entrepreneur for 14 years, working in different businesses over the years. While I’ve gained a lot of experience, there were many moments where I felt lost and confused about my path, and the financial rewards didn’t reflect the work I was putting in. But what always kept me going was trusting my faith and inner knowing that everything I’ve been through was necessary for my journey. Every test was a testimony.
Over the years, losing close loved ones to health complications made me wonder—could I have helped in a better way? Those experiences hit me hard, but they also motivated me to find solutions—not just for myself, but for others who might be silently struggling.
In the business world, one of my biggest challenges has been finding the right balance between offering genuine, impactful wellness services and navigating the financial side of entrepreneurship. It’s one thing to have a vision, but it’s another to grow a business in a way that stays true to your values while also thriving. Every obstacle has taught me something, and I’ve learned that staying resilient, adaptable, and authentic to my mission is the key to moving forward.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Hervival®?
