1. How We started:
My journey with Virtual Media Hive began at a pivotal moment in my life. It was approximately six months before the onset of COVID-19, a time when my family and I had recently relocated to Casablanca, Morocco. Everything was new and unfamiliar, but amidst this transition, my entrepreneurial spirit found familiarity in starting my own company.
I remember vividly that I started Virtual Media Hive with nothing more than a beat-up, broken laptop. During our move to Morocco, the screen of my Windows laptop had been completely detached due to the rigors of travel. With limited resources allocated to settling into our new home, I couldn’t immediately afford a new laptop.
Undeterred, I improvised. The only functioning part of my laptop was the keyboard, so I purchased an HDMI cable and connected it to the flat-screen TV we had. For months, I worked with this makeshift setup, utilizing the TV as my monitor. It wasn’t ideal, but it allowed me to get started.
Eventually, I saved up enough to purchase a proper computer monitor, which significantly improved my workspace. Then, as COVID-19 forced businesses to adopt remote work, the demand for virtual assistants skyrocketed. Seizing this opportunity, Virtual Media Hive gained momentum. One client led to another, and I was able to upgrade to a reliable MacBook Pro, a tool that has been integral to my work ever since.
In essence, Virtual Media Hive was born out of resilience and determination in the face of challenges. What started with a broken laptop and a makeshift office setup has grown into a thriving business, helping businesses navigate the complexities of remote work with efficient virtual assistance.
This journey has taught me invaluable lessons about adaptability, perseverance, and the power of seizing opportunities. As I look to the future, I am excited about the continued growth of Virtual Media Hive and the impact we can make in supporting businesses worldwide.
2. How you got to where you are today:
We’ve reached our current position through a combination of divine grace and dedicated relationship-building:
First and foremost, we attribute our success to the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whose guidance has been foundational to our journey.
In the early days of our business, it was just me working with multiple clients in a B to C capacity. Over time, I realized the transformative power of cultivating authentic relationships. By viewing our clients not just as business opportunities but as individuals with unique needs and aspirations, we fostered trust and loyalty.
This shift enabled us to transition from B to C partnerships to establishing crucial B to B relationships within our industry. These connections have been pivotal in expanding our reach and influence.
Through these relationships, we’ve not only met financial targets but also gained recognition as a top 20 virtual assistance agency. Our portfolio includes collaborations with high-profile individuals from Hollywood such as 3x Grammy award-winning artist Kevin Olusola from Pentatonix and non-profit organizations within the US.
Navigating these opportunities hasn’t been without challenges, but with God’s divine provision and the strength of these relationships, we’ve consistently opened doors to new ventures and growth.

Navigating Client Relationships from B2C to B2B: Transitioning from B to C to B to B relationships posed challenges in gaining the attention, understanding and meeting the diverse needs and expectations of corporate clients.
