Today we’d like to introduce you to Evan Price
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Absolutely! When I was 14, I started a band with my friends. We booked our own shows and wrote our own music. I took charge of managing everything for the band and quickly discovered that I loved the organizing and building side of things more than performing. That led me to study music business management.
After interning with a few self-made business owners in the city, I decided to take the entrepreneurial route myself. Today, I’m passionate about helping other creative business owners launch their own ventures. I like to call them “Artistpreneurs.”
In 2024, I made the leap to become a full-time digital nomad. I quit my part-time job, moved out of Chicago after 12 years, put all my stuff in storage, and started hopping from country to country every 60-90 days. So far, I’ve explored Colombia, Mexico, Morocco, and Istanbul.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Oh gosh, it was definitely not smooth sailing. In the first five years of my business, I made virtually no money. I’ve always had part-time jobs to support myself while my business slowly gained traction. It’s only this year, at age 34, that I’ve been able to quit my side jobs and focus solely on my business.
I’ve faced many setbacks, both personal and business-related, just like everyone else. What keeps me going is staying focused on the WHY. Why am I doing this? Why am I passionate about this particular path? Keeping those reasons in mind helps me push through the tough times and stay humble during the good times.

Artistpreneur is a coaching company tailored for creative business owners, or “Artistpreneurs” as I like to call them. Our clients are musicians, creative experts, freelancers, and service providers who are passionate about their artistic pursuits and want to turn them into successful businesses.
We offer coaching, tools, resources, support, and accountability to help these Artistpreneurs achieve their goals. Whether they aim to make their passion a full-time job or simply enjoy selling a single product on the side, we’re here to help them succeed.
The analogy I like to use is we are personal trainers for creatives businesses. haha
What were you like growing up?
I was always highly driven when it came to my own passions. I wasn’t great in school, especially in subjects that didn’t interest me. But whenever I found something I loved, like my band, I gave it 110%. I spent many years doing taekwondo (red second belt) and loved playing soccer and drums as a child. Promoting shows at the local venue and performing with my band took up about 70% of my time.
