Today we’d like to introduce you to Elrico Tunstall

Hi Elrico, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?

As a two-time war veteran who has served in the United States Army, my journey has to begin with that. I am a highly decorated veteran who has overcome battles on and off the battlefield. After my medical retirement, I have continued to serve but in a different way, and it begins by being a devoted husband to my Loving wife Eugena Tunstall and my children and, secondly, being a productive member of my community of Pensacola and the entire Gulf Coast. I have produced two full-length feature films; a third one is coming. From The Mind Of Elrico Tunstall Studios has Films streaming globally on Prime Video, Apple TV, and Tubi. Sacred and What the Heart Wants are the names of the two films. I could only get to this point in my career by overcoming significant obstacles and using those obstacles as fuel to push me forward. I have always believed that pursuing success should make you uncomfortable. I take nothing or no one for granted, and I am sincerely humbled by the support and respect I receive from my supporters.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

The road I have traveled over the past 12 years has been rough, but I have grown to appreciate each bump that has occurred. I have faced many challenges, ranging from no financial backing to naysayers, negative press, actors quitting, COVID-19, and losing my Mother and Father, who were my biggest supporters since day one. It is extremely difficult for me to now look out at the audience of my events and not have them sitting in the front row.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about From The Mind Of Elrico Tunstall Studios?

I am a Writer, Director, and Producer who has two Major motion pictures, Sacred and What The Heart Wants, which are streaming on Prime Video, Tubi, and Apple TV. I am also a Marketing Expert, Talent Manager, and Event Planner. I am most proud of my Film Studio, From The Mind Of Elrico Tunstall Studios, which is independently owned. We have produced full-length movies in an area of the country where movies are not generally made. I have also been in a position to pay actors for their work.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?

Finding a mentor is challenging because, generally, the people who have it keep it to themselves, and the ones with knowledge don’t share out of fear of you surpassing them. What has worked well for me is the ability to use my God-given gift as a creator to generate revenue and, most importantly, failure because every time I’ve tried and failed, I’ve learned.
