Today we’d like to introduce you to Abrahim Berete

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

Spring of 2016 j was sitting in my room and there was a box full of hats my mom had in the house I one day randomly decided that I wanted to customize each one. After customizing the hats I then post them on Instagram just for fun to see how people would feel. After 1hr of having the post up everyone was reaching out for me to customize there’s & also sell the hats I had posted on instagram. In 2018 when I graduated high school I then decided to start my own brand which is Dripset Studios, my first piece that I had showcased was my fashionable bulletproof vest that till this day is one of the pieces everyone has known the brand for. You could see it on rappers like pop smoke & others. This brand has gotten me in rooms I never would’ve thought i would ever be in but when I started this brand I had a plan of how things would go and that’s exactly what happened

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

Honestly it’s been a up and down road you know but that comes with any business or anything in life. Having troubles with finding good manufacturing, models cancel on shoots & drops not doing as good as I thought they would.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

As of 2024 I’m now known for my last 2 collections my loyalty club collection which is my football jerseys and then my PRETTYGIRLSLOVEDRIPSET I also ended up doing a tour with my pretty girls love dripset collection. Honestly I would say what sets my brand apart is the promotion I work hard on that promo is everything to me it’s what paints the picture of the clothing in my opinion. I’m very proud of how well I have let my last few capsules marinate and seeing how many new customers I have gained this past year has really been all about finding my core fan base which I think I have found my new identity. My brand is authentic I didn’t start this as a money grab I genuinely have had a passion for this since a kid so when you support me your supporting a kids dream come true.

How do you think about luck?

Honestly I put everything in the hands of Allah without him none of this is possible so I really don’t believe in luck everything I’ve gotten I have literally manifest and prayed for
