Interestingly enough, it’s not that my field has flipped upside down…yet, but I am seeing drastic changes in the overall concentration of the field. Nutrition and dietetics is primarily focused on managing chronic diseases from a very clinical perspective. There was also a lot of emphasis on weight and weight management. Weight (over or underweight) being one of the main driving forces for diseases. Hence, why dietitians get the rep of putting people on diets to better their health. Read more>>

COVID has drastically changed my industry and I believe most Tai Chi and traditional martial arts school owners are not prepared for the change. Sadly, many martial arts schools did not survive the COVID economic downturn. Of the businesses that survived, many owners do not realize that COVID has permanently shifted people’s lifestyles, habits and choices.
