I learned to be consistent and discipline while in college in order to achieve my goals. Being consistent has allowed me to continue, growing my business in the right direction. Oh, what an intense question. The most important lesson I learned was you’re never too young or too old, to start over or to get help. A little backstory! I had just started 9th grade and I was struggling mentally, emotionally and I was just going through a lot internally. I was never a fan of school because I was bullied during my elementary and jr. high years, and so there was a lot of anxiety surrounding school. I was sitting in a classroom at Broward College, my sophomore year, maybe it was a morning or afternoon session, perhaps the air in the room was thick with anticipation as students filed in, each with their own expectations of what business knowledge they’d gain that day. But This wasn’t your typical textbook session. The instructor wasn’t just reading from slides or lecturing from a prepared script; he was sharing real-world wisdom, stories, lessons, insights that you wouldn’t find in the pages of any textbook.
