One of the best things about video games is the ability to restart – you can use your learnings to move faster and avoid obstacles. We often think about what we would do differently if we were starting over in business and we figured others probably think about this as well and so we asked the community to share their thoughts with us.

Often, the greatest obstacles to achieving our dreams and goals are the fears and doubts we harbor within ourselves. In my early years as a photographer, these emotions played a significant role in shaping my journey. It was a major adjustment after only working under employers for the entirety of my career, so there were plenty of things I did wrong in the beginning. If I had the chance to go back and start over I have to say the first thing I’d do is learn how to advertise myself. I knew it was something I had to do anyway, but doing it right is what made all the difference in growing my business in the salon. Keeping up with trends and knowing what my target audience is going to want to see from me is why I’m able to bring in as many people as I do now. I wish I would have done it off the bat. Read more>>
