My hero in life is Christ Jesus for many reasons. In particularly, because of His devine love for me and us all. It’s really unfailing. I’ve read about the stories in the gospel (meaning the bible) of Him and even tuned in on the teachings of Christ from preachers but it wasn’t until I started to really seek Him out for myself was when I began to recieve a deeper understanding and revaluation on who He is and what He means to me personally. met my Hero my Sophomore year of High school. Ms. Aubri Moore popped her head into our yearbook room and expressed that she was so excited to be joining us for the next year. A couple months later she had a grand mal seizure in her classroom. Fast forward to August before my Junior year of high school. It’s the Jostens yearbook summer workshop you go in you pick your yearbook page layouts, the covers, everything. We all were drawn to Moore. I spent the next three months coming to school early standing by her classroom door. Waiting for her to get to school so we could chat. My hero is my father, the best man I have ever known. His unwavering presence and wisdom shaped me into the person I am today. He guided me through the challenges of growing up, teaching me to find joy in the simple things and to approach life with eternal happiness. One of the greatest lessons he imparted was to always give my best because, as he often reminded me, “You can never do better than your best.” He also taught me the value of giving freely to the world without expecting anything in return, a philosophy that has shielded me from many disappointments.
