Before Covid, I was going to release a new machine called the Microformer (Micro) to compliment the bigger machines we make called the Megaformers (Megas). Covid changed the marketing of route of the Micro because the Micro was only supposed to be a machine used for core moves. Actually, COVID-19 was when my business ‘DuBose Visuals LLC’ was birthed. When everything was shut down, like most, I had a lot of time on my hands so I started playing around with my Iphone recording my niece, daughter, and who ever else would allow myself to record them. I didn’t think much of this newly found passion of mine until I was asked by a friend (Jeffery Daniel II) to seriously consider pursuing this field after assisting our church with navigating through live streaming. Interesting story, we opened march 9th 2020, we poured everything we had into making this restaurant a reality. A week later the governor shut all restaurants to to-gos only. Prior to this our business model was a standard table service restaurant. This never came to fruition as we had to immediately adapt to the new reality of the pandemic. We switched everything to to-gos and the rest is history. We used to-gos as a medium to win almost every award in town in our first 2 years. If you put your mind to it , it is possible. Read more>>

In 2020 TAK shifted from accepting gently used items and donations to purchasing new items for all the requests coming in. This has actually proven to be helpful as we now ship items such as bunk beds, mattresses, cribls, car seats, pack-n-plays etc. directly to the families in need.
