The number one thing we hear from entrepreneurs and artists and creatives when we ask them about their education is about how irrelevant it was to their story. Sure, some folks had wonderful educational experiences, but for many their experiences left them feeling ill prepared for life and their careers. So, we wanted to create a space for folks to share their experiences and ideas for how we can improve our educational system.

There are a couple of things I would change about the educational system. 1. I would place a greater imphasis on teaching trade skills. One of the skills training I would bring back are Home Economics, which would included but not limited to basic sewing (mending or heming and replacing buttons). I would change the educational system by implementing mandatory classes on mental health, nutrition, meditation and healing childhood trauma. I am a massive advocate for teaching young adults helpful tools in order to live a meaningful life. Fascist movements tend to succeed in societies where the general level of education is poor, and people are struggling financially or otherwise to the point that they feel too hopeless to change anything about our education system.
