Today we’d like to introduce you to Shronda Marshall.
Hi Shronda, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always had an eye for beauty and been a real girly girl. I did a little of everything and experienced so many different industries but really fell in love with Esthetics. I attended Ideal Beauty Academy in pursuit of becoming an Esthetician. I graduated in 2021, took the written state exam, the practical state exam and became fully licensed all in 2021. It was during the time we were in the middle of a pandemic so it was a very overwhelming yet accomplished feeling to finally get to that finish line!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road. Like previously mentioned I was enrolled in school during the pandemic. This had it’s on set of challenges. Often times school would close due to either a student or instructor having or being exposed to Covid so this delayed things quite a bit with graduating on time. Also, I was a full-time mother with teenage sons at home. My daughter had ventured out on her own by this time. Often, I was juggling my studies and trying to help my son’s with theirs. I was working 5 days a week so it became a juggling act trying to keep up with everything. In the end it was all worth it but far from a smooth road.

Majestic Moodz is independently owned and operated. I specialize in the health and beautification of skin. Skin care is not a one size fits all. It’s not a narrow path to finding that right balance for each client. I really take pride in learning about my clients on a personal level so I can be their personal guide in helping them achieve their skin goals. It’s so much more than just the products they’re using. It’s important to understand their lifestyle, work industry, health and wellness. All this place apart in maintaining healthy and well balanced skin. You can have the best products out there on the market but if you’re off balanced in other areas like your overall health, exposure to hazardous working environment, high stress levels, etc. Your products aren’t going to seem that great after all and the progress will be minimal. That’s why it’s important for me to establish a trusting and positive rapport with my clients so I can effectively guide in their skin care journey. I also take pride in knowing I create a safe place for my clients to come; not just to work on skin concerns/goals but to also decompress, relax, and recharge before going back to reality. That is one thing that sets me apart from others in the industry.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Hmm…I think many would be surprised to know that I’m working on getting an RV. I’ve always wanted to own one and be free spirited to travel all over the U.S. in it. I got a little hippie gal in me! I’m so ready for RV life but in due time, in due time.
