Hi Sharon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

My career began with a dream I had as a young girl of becoming a real estate agent. After achieving that goal in 2005, I found myself dreaming even bigger in 2007, aspiring to own and operate my own brokerage firm. The rest is history in the making. While my dreams continue to unfold, I am constantly imagining and envisioning where this journey will lead me and the impact it will have on those along the way and those who come after me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Opening my own firm has been anything but smooth. I started this business four months before finding out I was pregnant with my first child, making it feel like I was raising two babies at once. Watching my son and my business grow together has been both rewarding and instructive.

Through this journey, I’ve learned that growth builds endurance, brings new perspectives, and opens new opportunities. While pursuing new heights can be invigorating, the challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming. However, over time, these challenges reveal new strengths and dimensions of growth.

In entrepreneurship, each season brings its own set of challenges—financial, emotional, or industrial. One constant struggle is silencing distractions. It’s easy to get caught up in the rat race and lose sight of what’s truly important: time and relationships. I remind myself to always prioritize my purpose and the people who matter most to me.

I must also acknowledge my incredible parents, especially my mother, who nurtured my gifts from an early age. She encouraged me to embrace my uniqueness and supported the path I set for my future self. My father, too, provided a solid foundation, instilling in me the values of hard work and perseverance.
My siblings have been unwavering anchors and pillars of support in my business. Always willing to lend resources, offer a listening ear, and actively promote my services within their networks, they have been instrumental in expanding our reach and impact.

I am blessed with a distinguished team of agents and stagers who are truly exceptional. My husband, Chris, is an unseen force that significantly contributes to the growth of my firm.
