Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosa Sarmento
Hi Rosa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Here’s the revised version of your text, optimized for clarity while maintaining the same tone and personality:

This story begins back in 2015, but I’ll keep it short and sweet. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I went to school and started my career.
By trade, I’m a fashion designer, and I spent about six years working in the fashion industry in Brazil before making the bold decision to move abroad. I still have a deep love for fashion, it’s art, it’s self-expression, but I didn’t love the industry. The relentless deadlines, the lack of work-life balance, and the overwhelming production demands driven by fast fashion.
By 2015, I couldn’t ignore the feeling that something wasn’t quite right. So, I started traveling, searching for answers and signs in different parts of the world. That year, I pretty much used all my savings to visit the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Greece, Chile, Bolivia, and Peru.
In Chile, I met my now-husband, and in 2017, we began our life together. By 2019, I convinced him to move to Vietnam, a place I had always dreamed of experiencing. While in Asia, we traveled even more, adding Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, China, and Cambodia to our adventure list.
And then, it happened. After leaving my home country and a career in fashion to embark on a quest for self-discovery, I finally found some of the answers I’d been searching for in Vietnam:
How do I want to live my life? How can I contribute to the world? What am I really good at?
One regular Saturday morning, while searching online for a breakfast spot in Da Nang, I stumbled upon the term “podcast management.” It was mentioned in a blog by an author who was also living in Da Nang as a digital nomad. It sounded like something I could do, something I would enjoy. I knew I was creative, resourceful, and a fast learner.
I started my podcast management business in a studio apartment in November of 2019.
At first, it was just a few freelancing gigs. The following year, I founded Ideablossoms LLC, focusing on podcast launch and management. By 2021, we had grown into a remote and diverse team of five, managing a roster of 13 clients. And now, we’re on track to becoming a six-figure business in 2024.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

My biggest challenges were internal. Coming from a developing country and speaking English as a second language, I often found myself doubting and comparing myself to others. I knew I had the ability, but I struggled to let myself dream big.
If you can’t see it, if you don’t believe in it, you’ll rarely reach the place you truly want to go. There’s a quote by Henry Ford that resonates with me: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.”
So, I began working on myself. I sought help from a couple of therapists who really made a difference. They also ran online businesses, so they truly understood the struggles, the ups and downs, the triggers, and the insecurities. They helped me see things more clearly, taught me to celebrate my successes (and in doing so, acknowledge all that I was capable of), and gave me the tools to support myself through challenging times.
It’s ongoing work; it never stops. But now, I know myself more deeply. I can make decisions with clarity and confidence, knowing they no longer stem from a place of fear but from a place of understanding.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Our services are for industry leaders and business owners who are ready for more. More conversations, more collaborations, and more impact. They understand a podcast can help them get to that next level and establish themselves as an authority in their field.
Since founding Ideablossoms in 2020, we have produced and released over 1,000 podcast episodes!
We’ve had the pleasure of seeing clients whose podcast we launched reaching the top 1% worldwide. Right now, 8% of our clients rank in the top 1% worldwide, 31% in the top 3%, and 38% in the top 10%.
We believe in sharing knowledge and lived experiences. What good is knowledge if we keep it to ourselves? What good is knowledge if it’s only available to a certain demographic?
That’s our legacy. We take great pride in preparing and releasing episodes that have the potential to change perspectives, open minds, show a different path, and empower people to make bolder moves.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Just keep going. No matter the pace.
If you’re starting out, focus on that next step of the ladder instead of looking at the very top of the ladder.
I used to torture myself with thoughts of “I’ll never get there” because I was so focused on the big picture and everything I didn’t have yet. It would overwhelm and paralyze me. Looking back, I realize it all worked out as it should, on its own time.
It isn’t about reaching the top, it’s about continuing to take steps forward. One at a time.
