Today we’d like to introduce you to Rafi Gola
Hi Rafi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My filmmaking journey started back in high school when I started filming basketball games at William Howard Taft High School and launched an Instagram page called “Taft Mixtapes.” It quickly caught on, and I realized I could actually turn this passion into something bigger. To expand beyond just my high school, I created a new Instagram page called “Expoze Official” to cover more basketball content.
Since then, I’ve had some amazing opportunities, working with athletes like Jamal Crawford, Allen Iverson, and DeMar DeRozan. But why stop there? I ventured into the music scene and had the chance to cover tours for artists like Drake, Travis Scott, and Lil Durk. One of the most significant was doing a recap video on Chief Keef return to Chicagoland for 2024 Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash. These experiences are what keep me motivated for the next.
Recently graduating at DePaul University, I’ve been collaborating with brands like Meta, NASCAR, and NBA, creating video ads, photography, and short-form content. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m excited about where this journey will take me next. I’m always looking for new ways to push my creativity and explore fresh ideas, so who knows what’s next?
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey hasn’t been without its hurdles. Success in this field demands a lot of behind-the-scenes effort that often goes unnoticed. One of my biggest challenges was staying consistent while juggling multiple responsibilities. Balancing my studies at DePaul University, a part-time job, and managing clients for my business was overwhelming at times, and it was easy to lose track of which priorities needed attention first.
But as time went on and I graduated, I decided to leave my part-time job and focus entirely on my creative agency. This shift allowed me to focus my energy solely for the brand and work on overall consumer experience across all platforms. Despite the difficulties, the lessons I’ve learned have been crucial in guiding my path forward.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is to trust the process. Success doesn’t happen overnight, and there are always going to be bumps along the way. It can be tough to stay positive when things aren’t going as planned, but believing that every challenge is part of the bigger picture has been crucial for me. It’s about being patient, staying focused, and knowing that every step—even the setbacks—contributes to the overall journey. Trusting the process has helped me stay grounded and appreciate the progress I make, no matter how small.
