Hi Olivia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I visited another paint and sip in April of 2022 and loved the idea of it. I wanted to take the painting aspect and turn it into something much more entertainment based. The goal was to have people come for celebratory moments. Birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorettes, and more!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has been challenging at times, but very rewarding! Staying persistent has been the key. Once people come into our space and experience all we have to offer, they’re hooked. We have made great connections with our customers and created a space that makes you want to come back to time and time again.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My journey opening up this business went hand in hand with getting my real estate license. I always had a desire to help others and ensure they feel comfortable and happy! I have a long background in customer service and wanted to pick a career where I could continue that, but do it in a way that people were eager to engage in also. We cut our ribbon to open for business the same day I finished my licensing for real estate. Now I help people accomplish their goals and give them a place to relax day and night.
What makes you happy?
Community makes me happy! We are big proponents for making the area we live in the best it can be. Bringing life and art to Newport News has been such a wonderful thing to watch come to life. Seeing people either come to party and laugh, or relax, talk, and paint with loved ones has been something that brings me happiness!
