Hi Kalyn , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my marketing agency at the end of 2021! I was scrolling through social media and came across a creator who was posting lifestyle/business content on her page. I decided to message her to see how she got from point A to where she is today.
Since she was getting an influx of similar questions, she decided to hold a masterclass. This taught us everything we needed to know about how to jumpstart our business plans.
Once I finished the class, I decided to start building my brand awareness/community on social media. This helped me grow my company to where it is today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some struggles I have had along the way would be setting boundaries. Setting boundaries as a business owner can be difficult at times. Whether it’s taking time for yourself or letting go of working with toxic people, you learn as you go.

I have been running my business for almost 3 years now. I specialize in social media management, business coaching, and content creation for businesses.
For businesses who want to collaborate with my agency, I help run their social media accounts and create the content we post. This allows business owners to have more time to run their business! Time is money. For people who may not be ready to commit to handing over their social media, I created a coaching program. People get to pick my brain for ideas and strategies! While still having 100% control of their accounts.
What sets me apart from others is I like to be involved with every project or call that involves my clients. I think businesses whose founders are involved will build better relationships overall.
I am the most proud of the community I have built for my business. I have spent a lot of time reaching out and going to networking events to meet business owners in Kansas City. This has brought me a lot of positive friendships I am thankful for! It is important to surround yourself with people who have the same goals as you.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is keeping my motivation to keep going. If I can keep my motivation, this will help me keep a motivated and dedicated team around me.
