I started my journey as a businessperson at a very young age. From the beginning, I always knew I wanted to be involved in business, but I wasn’t sure what kind of business it would be. Growing up in the streets of Washington, D.C., my life took a different path, and I found myself engaged in various criminal activities, simply trying to make it.

My turning point came when an organization stepped into my life and offered me a lifeline. They saw potential in me and were committed to helping me turn my life around. Through their support, I was exposed to a wide range of opportunities that I had never imagined. I was given the chance to participate in speaking engagements, where I shared my story and learned the importance of resilience and determination.

One of the most significant opportunities came when I was accepted into the University of the Potomac to study business. Enrolling in college was a transformative experience for me. It provided me with the knowledge and skills I needed to pursue a legitimate business career. The exposure to different facets of business, coupled with the mentorship and guidance I received, helped me shape my path and focus on my goals.

Now, with a solid foundation in business education and the drive to succeed, I am committed to making a positive impact in the world. My journey from the streets of D.C. to the halls of higher education is a testament to the power of second chances and the importance of perseverance.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Transitioning into business was a new frontier, filled with its own set of challenges. Every level I reached required a deeper level of expertise and a relentless commitment to breaking generational curses. The pressure of being the first in my family to take these strides was immense, but it also fueled my determination. I knew I was not only building a future for myself but also paving the way for those who would follow.

Through it all, my life has been a journey of growth. Each transition has been a step forward, no matter how difficult. From surviving the streets to thriving in the entertainment industry and now navigating the world of business, I continue to learn, adapt, and push boundaries. My story is far from over, but it stands as a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and the unwavering belief that no challenge is insurmountable.

Over the past decade, luck has been an exceptional force in my professional journey, propelling me forward in both real estate and television. However, I’ve come to realize that luck doesn’t simply appear out of thin air. It is the universe’s way of rewarding those who have laid the groundwork with relentless hard work and perseverance.

In real estate, I’ve navigated countless challenges and seized numerous opportunities, each step requiring meticulous planning and unwavering determination. My ventures in television have mirrored this journey, demanding creativity, resilience, and a deep commitment to my craft. Through it all, I’ve learned that luck is not a substitute for effort, but rather a complement to it.

Success, I discovered, is a delicate dance between preparation and opportunity. The long hours, the strategic decisions, the relentless pursuit of excellence—all these efforts set the stage for luck to play its part.
