Today we’d like to introduce you to Denecia Miller
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hello My name is Denecia Miller I am a licensed cosmetologist in multiple states I’ve been licensed since about 10 years now and the past few years in the beauty industry has definitely been a adventure . Over the years I have been blessed to have opportunities to be able to partner with a couple companies for different partnerships. Overtime I have acquired multiple skills and certifications within the beauty industry. I’ve even have been fortunate enough to have me and my featured in a few publications. With all those amazing blessings I’ve accomplished nothing has been quite as amazing as me opening my own business D’Luxe Beauty Studio located in Olive Branch Mississippi.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It would be a lie to say that the journey that I’ve been on has been a smooth one. I’ve definitely been greeted with hiccups along the way. Whether it’s been adversaries from life in general, egregious behavior from staff at the places I’ve worked at, and at times me being afraid of my own potential. However no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My studio is designed to give everyone the D’Luxe beauty experience. I’m most known for my brow laminations, brow tintings, and makeup applications. What sets me apart from the others is I’m simply me. To know me is to know I’m going to welcome you with “Hey Gorgeous!”, I’m going to give you all of my colorful good energy, you’re going to recieve a service you’ll love, and when needed you’ll get a warm hug with a shoulder to cry on . Even though my studio has only been open for a short months my business is abundant and will continue to be. Some might see my studio as four walls and space but it’s way more than a space and the items that occupy it. It’s a physical representation of my dreams coming true. Everyday I step foot in there I’m going to give you all that I got because ultimately that’s all I know how to do. My clients that consistently show their support in making my dreams come true will always get the utmost respect, love, and best from me and D’Luxe.
What’s next?
My plans for the immediate future is to expand the D’Luxe Experience by featuring retail at D’Luxe Beauty Studio. In addition to retail there are a few services I’m looking into adding to our service menu at D’Luxe Beauty Studio such as henna brows and lash cluster sets . My plans for the distant future of D’Luxe is definitely to make it the one stop shop for beauty. Now at this current moment I can’t further elaborate much on my future plans but please stay tuned you never know what will roll out next.
