In my early days of styling, a photographer that I’d been working with asked if I wanted to work on a small print shoot with her. It would be to style & create a look for a small but trendy local frozen yogurt shop called Pinkberry. I collaborated with a talented creative director & photographer to create an instantly recognizable look for the product. Our goal was to style the product with a bold, graphic and fresh aesthetic to elevate their frozen yogurt from an already crowded field of competitors, Over the next decade I continued to work closely with the client to help establish Pinkberry into a national success story. It was very gratifying to be part of the beginning of such an iconic brand. Read more>>

Our very first client was an elderly woman who suffered from nerve damage in her hands. Due to this it made touching the simplest items like towels difficult for her. She contacted us with the goal of decluttering and organizing her 2,200 sq ft basement that she utilized for storage. This space was extremely important to her and her husband as they had precious memorable items stored along with holiday decor etc. We immediately visited and executed a plan to create a space that was accessible and meaningful in the end. The results were amazing and her comments were precious to our heart. She stated “You ladies are lifesavers”. Through this process, we donated many items old and new. We also created a functional system that allows both her and her husband to easily find what they are looking for. Everything is now in bins, with labels allowing them to attain their items quickly and efficiently. This client can now avoid any painful moments searching through clutter to find what she needs. By the end of my first year in my photography business, I had a family session where my client told me the most unforgettable feedback that I’ll never forget. He told me, “You brought us back together, you saved my family”. Read more>>

I recently had a client mail me the ashes of her child that had passed away at birth. It’s painful to say that dealing with heartbreaking stories like that is not un-common in my line of work. This mother wanted me to preserve the ashes in a ring for her. Now she has a beautiful way to cherish what she has left of her sweet baby. A lot of clients dealing with loss like this find keepsake jewelry to be very helpful in the grieving process. Having this memorial piece brought her a bit of closure and joy to see the ashes displayed in a beautiful way. Read more>>

When I first became a Private Chef- my business looked very different from how it does now. I had two families that I would prepare and serve dinner for several times a week- and one family that had me come by every morning Monday-Friday. My everyday client had special needs, in the sense that she had Type 2 diabetes and had to adhere to a low-glycemic, raw-vegan diet as prescribed by her Naturopathic doctor. Her blood sugar medication had a side effect that caused dementia- so this woman who had been quick as a whip was in quick decline with nothing more than a shrug from her physician and the excuse that was the price to pay for stabilized blood sugar. So my client’s son hired me to heal her by reversing the damage from the medication and stabilizing her blood sugar levels; and to do so by restricting her diet. Read more>>

I think it’s really important to share the success stories of homeowners. There’s so many sensationalize news articles about the market and high interest rates and it can be frightening for people to know if now is a good time to make a purchase. It’s always a great time to purchase. If you rent it, you should buy it. I can share so many examples of times when clients have brought zero dollars to the closing table and some of them even gotten money back. I can be even more proud of my clients who have bought and sold with me where I can witness the crazy amount of equity. They gained over the years and they were able to leverage to move onto the next chapter, which could include using that money to purchase another home, investment property , pay off debt, and so much more. This is significant because it reinforces the power of a “starter home” and getting your foot in the door and how that can impact your future. Read more>>

Most of our client’s book about 3 weeks to a month out. We do have some that plan a little closer to their event date by booking the week of. That is okay with us, if we have the inventory. That’s the risk they run by waiting. I knew on this particular week, that the weekend ahead was completely booked. Which means a lot of nos for potential clients that want to book the week of. We get a call from a woman looking to rent tables and chairs for a funeral and repass on Saturday. I must let her know that at this time we are fully booked, we are so sorry we can’t help her but hopes she keeps us in mind for future events and wishes her well on her search. This is on a Tuesday if I’m not mistaken. On Wednesday, a client that previously booked us for a graduation party on Saturday calls about concerns of the weather and changes her event date. After we took care of her, I thought of the lady that called about the repass. Originally, I thought to myself, she called somewhere else and got it taken care of. But something wouldn’t let me leave it alone. I thought, I should call her and offer her the rentals that just became available and even if she has already booked with another company, it will still show our sincerity and outstanding follow up practices. The simple fact of making a living by producing art still amazes me. I started working as a special Ed. teacher and never thought that a successful career as an artist was a possibility. In 1982, I was offered a management job in an art gallery. This seemed the answer to my dream; learning the business of selling art. I had degrees in Fine Art, Art Ed & Sp. Ed but no experience in business. As time went by, I joined several co=op members galleries. I also expanded my exposer by participating in several outdoor art festivals each season. Read more>>

As I do with all of my clients, Ellie and I spent our first 90 minute session together looking at all the different aspects of her life (love life, health and wellness, career, wealth, etc.) and mapping out her micro and macro goals. We learned that the majority of her time and energy was pouring into work and that the other areas of her life were starved for attention. On top of that, Ellie’s nervous system was absolutely exhausted after years of chronic stress and hyper achieving. This made it challenging to complete every day activities and to imagine planning anything outside of work, even things that would bring her joy. Ellie discovered that she needed to take a leave of absence from work in order to make any meaningful change. Read more>>

3 years ago I had a client come in with a hair emergency and she felt hopeless about the future of her hair. I ensured her it would grow back as long as we kept up with a regimen for success. We started using Fiber hair solutions products in the salon doing treatments bi-weekly and also at home for weekly shampoos. With regular very small trims and education on the proper maintenance for home care my client grew her hair well past her original goal. The results of her growth were so meaningful because she had always thought that her hair couldn’t grow past her neck but with her dedication to the process and my fiber hair solutions hair collection she is a true success story and also this in fact is the main reason I’m still doing what i love to do. Whenever I can help a First Time Home Buyer get their first home, that is always a success story for me. The latest First Time Home Buyer I helped had completely changed his life around from being in and out of prison and breaking addiction- to deciding he was ready to buy his first home. He actually was surprising his brother with it as well- who was in a half-way house after spending time in prison and turning his life around. He was the most appreciative person and he made everyone cry at the closing because of how happy it made him to become a homeowner. It wasn’t easy finding a home that he qualified for, but when we did- it made all the difference in the world. Read more>>

I was recently commissioned to design a logo for The Inclusive Therapy Group, which initially featured a Celtic Knot. Their vision included integrating the LGBTQIA+ Flag colors into the design. During the creative process, I took the concept a step further by incorporating diverse silhouettes within the symbol, enhancing its uniqueness. The new design received an overwhelmingly positive response from their team, and I take great pride in the outcome. I meticulously documented the entire process, capturing a timelapse of this brand transformation. You can now witness their previous logo evolve into its current form. Read more>>

Love Not Lost (soon to be Momento Foundation), helps people heal in grief. One of the ways we do this is by providing free portrait sessions to people facing a terminal diagnosis as a way to celebrate life, preserve memories, and support loved ones in grief. A mom, Beth, applied on behalf of her daughter, Bella, who has a life-limiting condition. Read more>>

One of Adventure Pups biggest success stories was with a pup named Nova. She came to the Springs from Denver where she hiked with another hiking company located out there. When I first met Nova she barked consistently at any hikers that past by on the trail. She was also very nervous to meet me and be around me. Her mom had to coach her into my vehicle the first few months so she knew it was safe. The first few hikes she was nervous to meet other dogs on the trail and would back if she saw anyone hiking in the distance. With immediate and consistent training I was able to get her to heel and look at me whenever she saw any other hikers. Her pack then came to her side and began to accept her into the pack. They gave Nova the confidence she needed on her hikes with other dogs. Today she is happy and excited to meet new dogs on the trail while still having a strict response rate with any commands her pack leader gives her. She will even run up to my car and jump in herself without the coaching from her parents. She is such a remarkable girl with a passion to learn. Read more>>
