Daisy is the namesake and inspiration for Daisy Chain Sanctuary. She was born in my arms in a snowstorm in December of 2007, just the cutest little filly with a heart for a blaze(the white spot on their face is called a blaze). When she was 4 months old it was determined she had cerebellar abiotrophy and would never be rideable- to most horse people that means she would be useless. This story is quite recent actually but I find myself still thinking about it constantly. I work in a very busy SuperCuts in Scottsdale. It’s was a Friday and I was just getting to work. There was a little boy running around in circles and his mom standing there just trying to get him to stop. My coworker was trying to get him to sit down for a haircut.
