I was working with a patient, 75 year old male, who came to me with type 2 diabetes and wanted to lose weight. His diet at the time was not conducive to his goals, so we started there. After working with me for 3 months, he had routine blood work done with his Doctor and his A1C, cholesterol and triglyceride levels all drastically decreased. I called him for our follow up session and he told me: “I have to say, when I first came to work with you, I didn’t think that you could help me. Read more>>

Over the past 3 years we have removed over 9,000 lbs of trash from Baltimore city streets, parks and waterways. One moment in particular that we will never forget was during a city wide cleanup, April of this year. Hands On HIIT’s designated area was in Brooklyn Park, and we asked Junk King to bring their trash truck so we’d be able to remove the larger more impactful items we’d normally have to leave behind including mattresses, tv stands, tires etc. Read more>>

A new client, Katrina, came in for a session. The moment she walked in, I felt her energy and the energy of all of the others she carried with her. This is a common thing for empaths. There was a heaviness in Katrina’s eyes as if tears would come at any moment and at the same time her eyes darted around like a caged animal. When we sat down, I could feel her apprehension. She explained that her friend had been telling her to come to me for years. Katrina went on to state that she didn’t believe in “this stuff” but she trusted her friend and things had gotten so bad that she needed to do something. Read more>>

Years ago when I was 18 I put a “bucket list” together. The list did not have a lot of things on it. I would say, not more than 10. The one that stuck out to me the most was, “help save someone’s life.” From time to time I would wonder if I would ever get the chance. I would even go as far as to daydream about coming upon a bad car accident and helping the person out of the car in order to get them to the hospital or diving and pushing someone out of the way of a moving vehicle. Maybe part of it was selfish and I just wanted to feel like a hero, but the thought of someone being alive because of something I did was intriguing. Read more>>

There was a man that needed help and he needed it now; his wife was frantic. He had been in the hospital for 9 days and was wanting to go home but could not be due to limited resources and no medical support. This is when we met – the three of us! Everyone was “afraid” to help him, but I was not. We all discussed the situation at length and then I got to work. We were able to obtain all of his supplies on a donation basis (thank you to that entity) which was a huge financial relief. I provided care for about a year in their home. Read more>>

I joined the movement of conscious dying back in 2015. As a licensed bodyworker, clinical counselor and musician, I began offering weekly hands-on-healing work to a man who was dying from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). It evolved into family support work; bringing the children into the dying process through creative endeavors; providing gentle guidance; then bringing support and ritual into Chris’s bedroom with his family and extended community.
