Today we’re excited to be connecting with Katherine Klimitas again. We’re excited to feature one of their services in our gift guide – learn more below and we encourage you to use your gift budget to support small businesses & creatives whenever possible.
Katherine, we loved learning your story, but I think our audience is going to appreciate learning about the services you provide as well. So, maybe you can help bring everyone up to speed?
My watercolor custom pet portraits bring your beloved pet to life on paper. Whether it’s a dog, cat, bird, horse or even a snail, my life-like paintings will give you the perfect way to honor and remember them even after they are gone.
Can you walk us through the onboarding process for a new client?
To start a pet portrait, I require 2-3 good photos of the pet (good lighting, poses, color, etc.). The client then picks their size, puts a down payment down, and away we go! Turn around time varies from two weeks to three months depending on my waitlist and the time of year.
How do most people hear about your services?
I market my work on social media (mostly Facebook and Instagram) but a lot of my work comes from good old word-of-mouth marketing. My clients are usually thrilled with their paintings and they love sharing their joy with their friends, who then want one too!
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers about your services or brand?
My pet portraits make great gifts too, especially for someone who has just lost a beloved family member. Gift certificates are also available.
