What has been the biggest surprise for you along this journey?
The biggest surprise for me on this business journey is how much social media affects the process of marketing and branding. Initially, I underestimated the sheer power of social platforms in shaping consumer perception and driving engagement. It’s not just about posting content—it’s about building a community, interacting with followers, and constantly adapting to trends. Social media has become a vital tool for creating authentic connections with customers, showcasing the brand’s personality, and sharing the story behind each product.
In addition, being naive to the various social media platforms, I had to learn and grow quickly in order to navigate their complexities and maximize their potential for my business. Initially, I didn’t fully grasp how different platforms require distinct strategies—what works on Instagram may not work on Facebook or TikTok. I had to dive into understanding each platform’s algorithms, audience behaviors, and content preferences. Through trial and error, I learned how to create engaging posts, analyze metrics, and adjust my approach. Over time, this growth not only improved my marketing efforts but also helped me build a loyal online community that truly resonates with the values of Pasión de la Piel.
