Oshri, thanks for joining us again. We’re so excited to have a product focused conversation today. Can you bring our readers up to speed on the product side?
I have created and co-created over 20 illustrated children’s books that each share fun stories that promote social and emotional thriving for children. My website shows each book, along with a bit about what angle of wellness the book touches on. A lot of these books also have a page in the back that parents, caregivers, and teachers can use to do activities or have conversation after they read the book. Book topics include things like handling tough emotions, patience, kindness, taking deep breaths, laughter, listening, mindful movement, and ways to show compassion and give care. Each book can be read in a few minutes.
Do you have any interesting customer success stories you can share about folks for whom your product was a great fit?
I LOVE sharing my children’s with people. This year I was twice so far asked to read my books two groups of 100, 300, and 400 kids. It was so fun. There is a song in one of my books that a kindergartner told me she had started to sing to herself before bedtime. It melted me.
If you had to boil your product or brand down to one core message – what would that message be?
These books aspire to carry the lessons that are not always taught in school, but that are some of the most important substance for children to begin understand, in order to be well and fulfilled, and to develop into resilient and compassionate adults.
What are you most thankful for?
I’m most grateful to be able to take challenges and difficulties that I learn in life, and collaborate with wonderful illustrators, writers, and designers to transform these experiences into stories that can bring light, joy, and guidance into people’s lives.
