Mina, thanks for joining us again. We’re so excited to have a product focused conversation today. Can you bring our readers up to speed on the product side?
Indulge in a globetrotting drinkware experience with Royal Fulani Living’s Bogolan Glassware Collection. Each porcelain cup is inspired by the rich, earthy hues of traditional Bogolan mud cloth from Mali, Senegal’s sister country.
Nine striking patterns adorn the interior and exterior of each mug in a celebration of West African artistry. With their elegant organic shapes and metallic gold handles, these generously sized mugs transcend ordinary kitchenware.
The African prints make a bold statement. Whether you’re sipping your favorite morning brew, lingering over a cozy cup of chai, or enjoying your favorite hot soup, Royal Fulani Living Bogolan Glassware brings a touch of cultural authenticity to your daily routine with this curated collection that highlights the vibrant beauty of Senegalese culture.
Royal Fulani Living’s branding suggests focusing on premium, elegant products with cultural flair. Although these cup designs are curated and acquired; they fill a niche for people who want high-quality glassware with a touch of Senegalese inspiration. We blend traditional African design with modern usability.
What’s been the most exciting part of the journey of taking this product from idea to real life?
The most exciting part of the journey is finally adding a curated component to our brand. All of our past products have been our original West African prints combined with everyday products.
The Bogolan Glassware Collection is the very first product line that we researched, curated, and acquired ready-made pieces that align with our West African aesthetic. Our goal is to expand and contribute something larger than the product itself.
It is about sharing culture and storytelling. These mugs inspire conversations about Senegalese culture and our connection to Mali; while their beauty adds an extra layer of fulfillment.
Is there a core message, value or ethos you are trying to communicate through your branding and marketing?
Royal Fulani Living’s ethos invites customers to see themselves as part of our narrative of elegance and cultural appreciation. It reflects the idea that luxury is not just about opulence but about being rooted in something meaningful; like Senegalese culture.
What’s next on the product or brand roadmap?
The next chapter for Royal Fulani Living is an exciting one! We are currently researching to expand the product line with a dishware collection inspired by Senegalese culture. This new collection will continue to celebrate the artistry, symbolism, and traditions of Senegal; and bring the vibrant heritage of West Africa to dining tables around the world.
