Ebony, thanks for joining us again. We’re so excited to have a product focused conversation today. Can you bring our readers up to speed on the product side?
The signature glove was the first archive piece in the new collection “Vyapini”. Evening gloves have always been a sign of status when I was growing up. My grandmothers, aunts, mother and little me had several pair to finish off an outfit so I made sure to add them to my base product mix when I had the chance. Everytime we rebrand I create a signature print with the logo. The new updated logo features my latest art to wear painting from the October 2024 Paris Art Expo also entitled “Vyapini”. Vyapini is the eighth or soul star chakra. Once the 3rd eye is open and crown chakra is activated your path becomes clear and you gain access to a higher vibrational reality and conciousness. It’s central to our purpose and life mission This where there is a fusion of the spiritual dualism of life on earth (us as apparent and distinct individuals) with spiritual oneness. We recognize that there is no separate self, only one universal consciousness; all that there is.
As we transcend our connections to the physical vibrational reality we tap into to our “higher self” defined by our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, we become unconstrained by our earthbound living experience of what is “reality.” The labyrinth is the visual manifestation of the universal pathway you can walk to activate your chakras and amplify your frequencies. Its’ non denominational, and is the present, past and future path we take as we walk through our manifestations. It represents the connective conscious of the past(our ancestors), the present(who we are) and the future. And that’s what it represents within the context of my work and the brand.
Even though I designed this new collection before the election, I think that the aftermath calls for all creatives to use their platforms to activate. Vyapini is a call to action to participate in sustainability as protest against the socioenvironmental oppression and current divisions .We all walk the same collective path because we have alot of the same collective interests. And because the opportunity to position ourselves to coexist with the planet is a luxury within itself we provide that sustainable luxury experience. Each product is limited edition and some products are one of a kind.
Do you remember the moment you realized the world needed this product?
Over the last year I have been very inspired by change and making a connection with the collective community, including the consumers that vibrate on the same frequency as the consciousness of the brand. I had already been working on the Vyapini painting. One day my mom sent me a picture of my great grandmother from the early 1900’s, sitting for her self portrait, post assimilation. So this would be after Native American Indigenous peoples were forbidden to speak their languages, practice their traditions or wear their traditional dress. The picture represented a pivotal point in American history, Native American History and my family history. I decided I wanted to recreate the look in modern times under the brand identity. As I compared other pictures from that time period I noticed lots of gloves and hats, but they were missing from the picture. The evening glove is already a foundational piece in my collections that would be an easy addition to complete the look. and polish it off for a new era.
I had already recently redesigned the logo to include part of the painting and then I created the print. It’s almost like morse code and designed to be worn for meditation or yoga and guide the mudras and energize the nidras. While designing the looks I can now see how the rest of the collection comes together, the jewelry, bags etc. The opportunity came for us to launch at a collective retail space in Manhattan so this will be our first non online venture other than the fashion shows and galleries. What I’ve learned along the way is this:
your personal brand and professional brand have to align for longevity
create your brand with evolution and pivoting in mind
diversify your brand portfolio but keep it tight and adhere to your mission statement and values
become an expert in your field
don’t be afraid to take calculated risks
don’t be afraid to do it alone
don’t give up

If you had to boil your product or brand down to one core message – what would that message be?
TSX Design House mission is to combat socioenvironmental oppression through the fashion and art platforms. We activate the chakras of the consumer who vibrates on the same frequency regardless of location, gender, religion, financial standing, education, age or political beliefs. Engaging with the brand and participating in a sustainable lifestyle is active manifestation of the vibrational reality you deserve. by buying the clothes, booking the yoga etc. is a social protest. Everything we create is from sustainable resources, recycled materials, repurposed or it’s a service that refreshes the mind. Transcend the Trends Beyond New Style Where Fashion is Art in 3d.
What’s next on the product or brand roadmap?

Then I got the invitation for the retail collaboration in New York, then the exhibition in Paris and those 3 things were major moves to the next level. I have to stay consistent and keep moving forward, mastering my craft. Combined with our traction in global art circles the focus will be on art/clothes sales, marketing and expansion into shoes, skincare, more jewelry and more handbags. Relaunching Yoga Yance and Chakra Dance(my chakra activation practice). Amping up online promotions for Etsy, Tik Tok and TSXDH online are also a major priority. We’ve been invited to the 10 year London Fashion Week Anniversary showcase fall 2025 and we’ve been honored to be invited to show in Dubai the last 3 seasons. TSX Design House hopes to partner with some investors in the coming year who understand and want to engage in the mission to bring more people into the fold of a more sustainable and holistic lifestyle. Outside of art and fashion I can definetly see more literature and film projects in the future.
Because of the outcome of the election I’m on the defense as an entrepreneur of color. Posturing and positioning the brand to withstand and literally “transcend the trends” that are coming with the new year is what will keep us Ford tough in the next socially disruptive global cycle. The future and my path is clear to me, regardless of the state of affairs in the geopolitical sphere, I’m in pandemic mode.
