For some, family businesses mean spending more quality time with their families, financial freedom and so much more while for others it feels like a prison sentence. There are so many pros and cons, positives and negatives and so we wanted to create a space for folks who have experiences with family businesses to discuss the pros and cons.

When my son was 1, I found myself going from a stay at home dad to a single father. I had just previously purchased a small farm in hopes of living the ideal family life on it. I feel strongly about having a family business. Not only are our children involved in the business, but I try to always find a way to incorporate my siblings businesses into my business to support them and help them to grow as well. I feel that this is another way that we can grow as a family and create more generational wealth within our family.
