Hi Timothy , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?

Timothy Roman’s journey began when he moved to the United States as a child with his Russian immigrant parents. Struggling in school, he dropped out in tenth grade and started his entrepreneurial journey.

Within a few years, Timothy started his own kitchen and bath specialty contracting company. He leveraged his computer skills to create effective marketing strategies, engaging with potential clients through social media and other online platforms. His hard work and dedication paid off, and his company grew rapidly, crossing the million-dollar sales mark within two years.

Today, Timothy continues to run his successful business, making sacrifices and taking calculated risks, confident that his efforts will lead to continued growth and success. His success story was featured in Gary Vaynerchuks latest New York Times Best Seller “Crushing it”

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

Early on, Timothy faced challenges in school, where he struggled to concentrate and eventually dropped out. His early years were spent in a poor neighborhood, where he lacked positive influences and the knowledge to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.

Timothy faced the challenge of starting over. He had to eliminate his old friends and build a new network of successful, like-minded individuals. Even then, starting in the construction industry was tough. He was new to the field and had to spend countless hours educating himself while working full-time. Learning the industry, building relationships with subcontractors, and creating a business from scratch required immense effort and perseverance.

Additionally, Timothy had to overcome his lack of formal education and experience by working late into the night, studying, and building his knowledge so that he could compete with more established contractors. He was doing things that other contractors didn’t understand, and this took a lot of time and energy, especially since he was trying to establish his business through modern marketing techniques like SEO and social media, which were not widely used in his field at the time.

Despite these struggles, Timothy’s determination and willingness to take risks helped him navigate the rough patches and build a successful business.
