My journey in the healthcare field began as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where I developed a foundational understanding of patient care. Driven by a passion for more comprehensive medical knowledge and responsibility, I advanced to become a Registered Nurse (RN). This role deepened my clinical skills and patient interaction, inspiring me to further my education and become a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
The pursuit of excellence led me to medical school, where I specialized in surgical oncology. Today, as a Medical Doctor and surgical oncologist, I have the privilege of combining my extensive clinical experience with advanced surgical techniques to impact patients’ lives profoundly.
Parallel to my medical career, I ventured into the financial world as a special financial consultant on Wall Street. This unique experience equipped me with insights into the financial mechanisms that drive global enterprises.
Currently, I am the CEO of my family’s nine-decade global enterprise, which encompasses over 300 businesses with a presence on every continent. Leading such a vast organization requires strategic vision and a commitment to innovation, ensuring sustainable growth and global impact.
In addition to my corporate responsibilities, I serve as the president of seven nonprofits. These organizations are dedicated to various humanitarian causes, reflecting my commitment to giving back to the community.
My true calling, however, is in ministry. I am an ordained clergy and bishop of an international ministry, serving alongside my mother, Dr. Archbishop Eloisa Crawley-Bonaparte. This role allows me to combine faith and leadership, providing spiritual guidance and support to our global congregation.
Each step of my journey has been guided by a commitment to service, whether through healthcare, business, or ministry. My diverse experiences have shaped my perspective and fueled my dedication to making a meaningful difference in the world.

The journey has definitely not been a smooth road. As a female and a person of color, I’ve encountered numerous biases that have made the path more challenging. There have been times when people have expressed hesitation in receiving my care, questioning my abilities and doubting my professionalism simply because of my identity. It’s disheartening when my skills and dedication are overshadowed by preconceived notions. Moreover, being belittled in professional settings has been a recurring obstacle, forcing me to constantly prove my worth and expertise. Despite these struggles, I’ve remained resilient, committed to breaking barriers and advocating for myself and others facing similar challenges.

Picture it: 1930, during the Great Depression. A courageous woman of color, brimming with determination, migrates from Georgia to the vibrant streets of New York City. Her name is Reverend Dr. Amanda H. Williams. Amidst the hustle of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, she opens her first business—a humble fruit and vegetable store on Broadway.
Within a decade, her entrepreneurial spirit and keen business acumen lead her to invest in property and land, amassing ownership of over a dozen businesses by 1940. Amanda’s talents were vast and varied, spanning hair care, sewing, and more. Every skill she mastered transformed into a new venture under the banner of H and W Holdings. Beyond her entrepreneurial achievements, she was a registered nurse, a pastor, and the devoted wife of a bishop.
Fast forward 95 years, and her legacy thrives through Jabez Global Enterprise, where I proudly serve as CEO, a position I assumed in 2000. Our brand embodies the spirit of diversification, encompassing oil, lumber, pharmaceuticals, hair care, healthcare, fast food franchises, agriculture, and real estate—all under one expansive umbrella.
What truly sets us apart is our identity: a black-owned, family-run enterprise that has endured and evolved for nearly a century. We are proud to continue Amanda’s legacy of resilience, innovation, and excellence.
