Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Najar
Hi Lauren, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was unfulfilled in my corporate job and was surrounded by family and friends who loved what they did. I knew there was more than going to a job hating what I do. I started blogging but then stumbled upon the online coaching industry and was instantly intrigued.
I have constantly worked at my goals and getting my business off of the ground these last six years and being consistent despite what life throws at me has gotten me to where I am today.
My business has been built through a very stressful 9-5, switching jobs, moving and having a baby just to name a few!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not! Nothing is smooth in entrepreneurship. There will always be bad days but what is important is that they outweigh the good or the alternative to what you had before. I’d rather work for myself than work for someone else. I’ve had many struggles such as imposter syndrome, not being motivated, thinking nothing is working – all of the things.
We’ve been impressed with Lauren Najar Coaching, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is a coaching business where I help business owners scale their businesses to 6 & 7 figures through simplified marketing and lead generation strategies. I specialize in marketing and lead generation while being authentic and building relationships.
I’m most proud of how consistent my message has always been and it’s something that has been complimented back to me too. What sets me apart is I know how to build relationships and have grown my business through having a small online presence because of that very fact.
I currently work with my coaching clients in a one to one capacity either through a one time intensive or an ongoing coaching package for 3, 6 or 12 months. I also offer done for you services through my agency LCN Consulting.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I love working for mentors for whom I admire and NOT someone who is going to promise me a quick fix. I have a specific need when hiring a mentor and I admire how they are building their businesses as well. I tend to follow people who I want to be more like or I can see a little of myself in. I resonate with their messages and follow them for awhile.
Don’t hire people based on quick fixes. Hire someone who is going to see you for you.
