Today we’d like to introduce you to Ciara Lewis
Hi Ciara, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my business back in 2019. The reason I started KLConsulting LLc, was due to seeing a huge need to educated Providers on proper billing and Credentialing. To allow them to see and understand everyday mistakes that are being made in billing and Credentialing and costing providers lots of money and causing them to shut down their practices.
I have a huge passion for my job and helping people. I am very detailed oriented and I wanted to our my time and energy into a project that waa more worth it to me.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has been very challenging to say the least. I started without any funding and that alone was a challenge. Especially, when you didn’t start to see the return immediately. That didn’t stop me from continuing on though. I also had bad luck in the start with hiring people. I just couldn’t find the right fit for the team and I feel like after COVID people stopped taking their jobs so seriously. I have also had a very difficult time with marketing and finding the right avenue for that.
As you know, we’re big fans of KLConsulting LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We specialize in Medical Billing and Credentialing services for Healthcare and Behavioral Health Providers. We provide services all across the 50 United States. Our services range from Billing, Coding, Credentialing, Payment Posting, AR Review and workup, claims denials and rejections, EFT AND ERA setup, and etc…
We provide a one on one approach with each one of our Providers and their team and also provide some helpful education as needed. Our goal is to help educate Providess to know important things to look for and understand while running their practice. We also make sure all payments are coming I’m as they should and being paid at the correct amounts. We like to keel our Providers updated with what is going on with their accounts.
How do you think about happiness?
Working with my clients and getting to know their story. I enjoy this, because I have always had a passion for helping people and working in the medical field.
