In March of 2020 there was a moment of widespread panic – it wasn’t just about public health, it was also economic. Would our economy survive a prolonged pandemic? A few years in the answer is clear – it did survive and it was able to because of the spirit and the resolve of our people. Hard working mom and pops working overtime to implement new revenue streams for the businesses, artists and creators finding new ways to collaborate and share their art with their fans and folks from every neighborhood in the country finding ways to adapt and carry on. We wanted to honor those stories by creating a space to share those stories and you’ll find some of the below.

Covid not only changed my business model but changed my career. The pandemic caused a sudden blow to my career in film and production, it left me jobless overnight. I was on the other side of the country at the highlight of my career to then wondering how long I could keep up with my bills with no income coming in. As we all know now that what we thought would be two weeks of being unemployed turned into months. I know millions of others had this unfortunate experience as well, especially in the film industry. It forced me to return to my hometown in Florida, and start over. I then very unexpectedly, becoming a mom to my son, Maverick in 2021. Embracing the opportunity for a fresh start, I ventured into the world of real estate, discovering a newfound passion. The transformation from COVID has primarily been in inconsistent supply chain and employment. COVID emphasized the need for well maintained core staff team within the company and sustainability in packaging that has more features to benefit the business and the customer. The general need to secure supply chain across the board to solidify communication and executing orders timely; these changes helped us to expedite orders in a more efficient way than before and helped to enhance project turn around times for all supplies and demand.
