Today we’d like to introduce you to Regina Craig

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

How i originally got started in makeup artistry by literally by accident and need to make more money.,i was working loss prevention at macys at the time and i would wear a full face of makeup. The girls from MAC would always compliment me and ask me why i wasn’t working there. I was a single woman with a child and once i found out how much they(at MAC) made, i was all in! lol so it didn’t start off my passion it was all about money! It’s when i got there that i realized GOD lead me there because it was my future. I’ve worked hard, lived in honesty , integrity , even when no one was looking. Waited my turn and celebrated others at all times.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

NO ! lol not a smooth ride at all!!’ When i started i had a toddler. So working full time. Being a mom, amongst all
Other things was at times difficult i had to struggle and watch people get promoted before me, who came after me, at times i didn’t get paid,

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

I am a professional makeup artist. I specialize in everything from celebrity, bridal to everyday beauty. I’m definitely known for my eye work. I’m most proud that i never gave up, even when i wasn’t sure how this would pan out! What sets me apart is, even when im not in a winning season i clap and cheer for those that are .

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?

Yes! Be patient! Work hard when no one is looking! Your time will come! What God has for you, will be yours
