Hi Rashad, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Biography – name Rashad K. Ali
Kentucky Native, from West Louisville
Occupation – Podcast Host/DJ/Rapper/Actor and Content Creator.

Rashad Ali has interviewed over 321 guests for over 5yrs well-known artists “Raheem DeVaughn” “After 7” “Kenny Lattimore” “The Whispers” “Christian Keyes” “Special Generation” and so many others.
Rashad has been in the entertainment business independently since 1996 , from putting up posters of artists to helping artists sell their CDs and work at a radio station for a few years.
Rashad has created a lane for independent artists to shine and be successful with their music careers.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I never had rough patches coming up in the music business, I learn about the music industry from booking promoter name K.C. Dunkerson he taught me a lot when I was 15 and back than I focused on behind the scenes by watching how people “talk” “make moves” “listen” “clear mind on how to speak to people” , now at this age 42yrs old I’m always above when it comes to handling business if it’s legit or not legit I have a sharp mind.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I learn alot of people as far as having a clear mind of how people talk because in this music business 1% is legit and 99% is phoney, never put all of your energy into people you can easily get screwed around.For me I educated people of all ages when it comes to the music business and share my experiences to the digital world “Facebook” and “Instagram”. My biggest accomplishment when my company reach “100,000” followers on Facebook I never thought that would happen but I’m blessed. What separates from others is I “I’m intelligent” “smart” and being in the business for 28yrs musically I learn the “in’s” and “outs” about the business and I wouldn’t be here business wise if I didn’t learn.
How do you think about luck?
Learning the hardway, I think sometimes when you’re young you think you know it all until reality hits. But I’m glad I never signed to anyone because it would’ve been a serious problem but the small setbacks in my career motivated me to become more sharper and fully pay attention.
