From Passion to Permanence: How I Built My BONDED Business
In 2022, my journey with BONDED began when I was introduced to its founders, Christee and Rachel. With a background in event planning and social media marketing—and a deep-rooted passion for jewelry—this opportunity felt like the perfect fit. Jewelry had always been close to my heart, dating back to my very first “big girl” job in the industry. When the chance arose to combine my expertise in creating memorable experiences with a business that resonated with me on a personal level, I knew I had to take the leap.
I started by purchasing a Bonded territory in Monterey, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Demand for our unique, high-quality permanent jewelry experience grew rapidly, and soon, I found myself hiring my first employee in California. A few months later, BONDED’s presence stretched from Sonoma down to Los Angeles, prompting me to bring on another team member in Las Vegas.
Now, just a few years in, I lead a dedicated team of seven and continue to seek talented individuals to join us as we expand into new territories. What started as a business venture quickly became a dream realized. My passion for jewelry, the connections I build with clients, and the purpose behind creating lasting experiences through BONDED have made this journey truly fulfilling.
Looking ahead, my vision is clear: to keep growing, to keep sharing this one-of-a-kind experience, and to make BONDED a household name in the world of permanent jewelry. This business is more than just jewelry—it’s about connection, memories, and moments that last forever.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I think about the growth of my business, I can honestly say it has been a pretty smooth road—because when you’re living in your purpose, even challenges don’t feel like obstacles. From the moment I was introduced to BONDED’s founders, Christee and Rachel, I knew this business was meant for me. My background in event planning and social media marketing, combined with my passion for jewelry, made the opportunity feel like the perfect fit.
I started by purchasing a BONDED territory in Monterey, California, and within a year, I expanded to Las Vegas, Nevada. As demand grew, so did my team. I hired my first employee in California, expanded BONDED from Sonoma down to Los Angeles, and soon after, brought on my first employee in Las Vegas. Now, I lead a team of seven and am actively seeking more employees and new territories.
Of course, no business journey is without its challenges—managing growth, hiring the right people, and balancing multiple markets all require dedication and adaptability. But the reason it hasn’t felt like a struggle is simple: I love what I do. Every day, I wake up feeling blessed to create meaningful experiences for my clients. BONDED isn’t just about jewelry—it’s about connection, memories, and moments that last forever.
