Hi Katie , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?

It all started in playing with makeup. I have always been the designated makeup artist for my friends, family, and now my clients. I am fascinated by the power that makeup holds. It can be subtle or so transformative. This is what led me to cosmetic tattooing. For me, it’s about creating balance and harmony not only on the surface, but in my client’s everyday lives.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

I think the biggest obstacle is self doubt. As an artist, it is so easy to never be pleased or satisfied with what you have created. I try to take remind myself of this often, take pride in what I create.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

I specialize in cosmetically tattooing eyebrows, lips, and eyeliner. I provide smudge proof enhancements that make everyday life easier. and more put together. I pride myself in my knowledge, care, and attention I give to each procedure. I invest in the best tools, supplies, and techniques to ensure the best possible results for my clients. I also frequently invest in continued education, which is very important, especially in this industry. I only want the very best for myself, my art, and my clients.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?

To give each client and each procedure my 100% very best. I’ve learned to never be content or complacent in my craft.
