Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Vasquez.

Hi Jennifer, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My music journey started from my living room when I was ten years old; listening to music on the radio and listening to my mother singing ballads at home. Then from training in different schools to working as a music teacher, working on my own music, friends music projects and more.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been rough. Not growing up from a wealthy family that can invest fully in my career/goals has been difficult. There had been times fortunately growing up in NYC (the center of creative arts) made it possible to participate in many city wide music programs for affordable prices, but other times I couldn’t afford my next vocal or piano lesson.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a vocal coach and educator. I specialize in training singers to their full capacity and discovering their full voice and range. I am super proud of my artistic drive and my care towards others artistic passion. What sets me apart from others is my charisma and care for my clients/student voices. I have patience with each of my students.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Love, Passion, Drive, Commitment, An ability to adapt to a project or environment, an ability to take criticism and rejection from others, and finally good-honest communication with others.
