Today we’d like to introduce you to Iana.

Hi Iana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

Originally I am from a small town in the north of Russia. Since childhood, I have been fascinated by two spheres: beauty and literature. And it so happened that my work in the beauty field allowed me to develop in the field of literature and believe in myself. I worked in international corporations, conducted trainings, wrote books, organized exhibitions, created and promoted brands. And thanks to my experience and great love for work, I was able to move to the United States on a talant visa, and now I continue to create beauty and magical worlds in U.S.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Like many, I suppose, I was worried about whether I had made the right career choice. But looking back, I am grateful that I listened to my heart and walked confidently on the path to becoming who I am. Of course, I made mistakes, but only those who do nothing make no mistakes. I experienced a lot of stress and fears, but in the end I realized that fears were only in my head, and only they prevented me from moving forward.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

My main specialty is a makeup artist, I worked as a team captain and supervisor for the brands Bobbi Brown and Make Up For Ever, as an expert I was a judge for the Russian beauty award, and I have many large projects in the field of show, film and television behind me. I am also the author of the book “Beauty and Bussiness”. And I can say with confidence that my makeup skills helped me realize myself not only creatively, but also as a manager and trainer. Now I use my experience to create projects and content as an art director, I continue to work with us with my novels.
