Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Dino-slofer

Hi Daniel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.

I’m Daniel, a Washington State born photographer, artist, and business owner who got their start through active participation and volunteering within my community from a young age well into adulthood. My worldview from my home town to various countries around the world has allowed me to experience wonderful people and its interesting and beautiful locations that I capture through photography and art. These opportunities grew to become the business I founded in 2018: Lucent Designs Media International.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

My creative journey has been relatively smooth for much of my exposure to both people and places I have experienced locally and abroad. I learned from a young age that providing a service to others to help solve a problem opens up abundant opportunities that help creates valuable resources and connection that made this road mostly issue-free. My general rule of thumb is to say yes to opportunities that would provide even a little experience that aligns with your goals and interests.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

As Founder and CEO of Lucent Designs Media International, I’m a professional photographer by trade, and art hobbyist on the side. My detailed paintings I sell commercially and donate to charities are themed after nature landscapes from my global travels.

This artistic side hobby began in 2001, where I taught myself how to paint outdoor-themed elements such as trees, rivers, and mountains. I then took my skill and began teaching beginning painting to youth at my local YMCA and Boys and Girls Club branches where I continued to refine my skills to the point where I could create beautiful landscapes using acrylic, watercolor, and even oil.

What helped immensely in finding continuous inspiration for my paintings stems from my global travels, allowing me to experience wonderful new sites and landmarks that fuel inspiration for new types of works I create to this day.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?

I define success as providing solutions to others that reflect your skill and aspirations to promote positive outcomes in one’s personal, local, or global endeavors.
