Today we’d like to introduce you to Cat Lantigua.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m a multi-hyphenate creative who has never been afraid to try new things! My journey as an author, podcaster, founder, and facilitator have stemmed from my insatiable desire to learn as much as I can about the things that spark excitement and curiosity!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nope, it’s been far from it.
Most of the struggles I’ve navigated have been related to my mindset and trusting that I have what it takes to honor the path I’m destined for. Within the past few years, overcoming the closure of my business to recover from burnout and writing a book without any history of experiencing the literary world at that level sparked moments of doubt, but ultimately they became tests that I was able to pass!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a multi-hyphenate creative, so I specialize in quite a few things, but I want to take this moment to highlight the recent project I’m most proud of, my debut book! Writing “Build It And They Will Come: A Guide to Architecting Intentional Community” has been a labor of love for over 1.5 years and is available for purchase now. This book is the embodiment of the personal principles that have helped me persevere through the dark times-resilience, community, creativity, and love. I like to say that I’m in a league of my own, so I try to avoid ever framing my life through the lens of competition, but my commitment to the principles described above ensure that as long as I try my best at everything I do, personal fulfillment/success always finds me.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
To not give up. Ever.
So long as you remain in the race, you will inevitably arrive to where you’re going.
