We love grabbing drinks with our entrepreneur friends because they always have the craziest stories. Sometimes it’s a big, unexpected win. Other times it’s a problem that came out of nowhere and couldn’t possibly have been foreseen. There is so much to learn from these stories and so we asked some of the brightest entrepreneurs and creatives in the community to share some of those stories below.

Having helped plant 7 churches 9 ministries including a foster care system through the churches over 15 years helping build a successful moving company all while being a full time social worker in child welfare, I thought I had things figured out. Until my now ex wife had an affair, I took on one of our 3 adopted children full time. Over the next 6 years I had given it all up. Spending close to 100k in trying to get help for him and I, moving, giving up ministry, my jobs, my family and relationships, I gave up everything to be a father to my son and his prior abuse and trauma that were causing behaviors out of control. Until I found myself in the hospital being given 3 months left to live because the trauma had taken over my body and my brain and nervous system stopped communicating. I was miraculously healed when Jesus gave me a new mission to share my story with the nations and to bring others along with me to share my story.
